Boost for your hoopty...

Hello All! Check out this cool iPhone / iTouch app from GReddy. So even if your car is slow and boring, here is an inexpensive way to sup it up! It uses the internal accelerometer or a manual button to give you that turbo & blow off valve sound! It definately fools you into thinking your car is faster then it is stock...LOL.

Get it here : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/greddy/id377647896?mt=8

New Project : Candy Crown

So, I finally found some time to work on this Yokomo Crown body I have had for a while. When I first got it, I could decide what I wanted to do. Then after I figured out that I wanted a vip-ish street drifter, I then had no time to work on it. Well finally put some work in and this is what I have so far.

Maked hood & window molding. Chrome grill, window trim, and side moldings. And now Lime Flake body, with candy Yellow and candy Smoke fade. Just need a good backing color & and something new for the hood. I have a few ideas, but well see...

Check back soon...

More then just contests

With the new news of D1GP possibly coming back to the USA, or at least D1GP rounds being shown on Speed TV. I decided to look up some videos from Odiba 2010. While watching it, I found some cool Team Orange driving. It's more like a show, but pretty cool to see. And if you watch till the end there is even a D1 flip-a-bitch contest. Pretty funny...

Wow, just heard about the new Kyosho Mini Z and Nano Track at their HQ in Lake Forest. Open on Saturdays and Sundays (excluding Holidays) That's pretty cool. And pretty close to my work. I will have to check it out one day. I wonder where I put my Mini-Z stuff?
